We visited the Legislative Building on the last day of our visit to Yellowknife and wished we had visited earlier. We arrived for the 10:30 am tour and were treated to a very informative and intimate (small group) tour of the building. Our guide provided...More

It was very interesting to see behind the scenes of the building while we took in the free tour. They have lots of the local artist paintings hanging throughout the building.

A regular guide was replaced for the day with a staff member who was kind and proud about the Assembly, but not a tour guide, unfortunately, We would have had the same experience just walking around, if we could have. The building is impressive.

Great for people interested in politics and legislature in the north. Its a hop away from the Northern Heritage centre and can be seen in one day. Tours are only available in the mornings, and some areas are restricted.

If you want to understand the NWT, this free quick tour of the Leg is mandatory! Awesome young female guide.

Our tour guide was really great. Very knowledgeable and kept a group of 10 teens interested! Good anecdotes as well.

We toured on Labour Day and there was no fee. There is no fee for the tour on any day. It was very interesting and well worth the tour.
