It's a little further out the Ingram Trail than Cameron Falls, but not nearly as far off the road. Cameron Falls is a good hike into a large falls. The Ramparts are a short walk into a large rapids. If your energy level is an issue, the Ramparts are for you and well worth the short walk.

I great hike leads to a very scenic waterfall. I choose poor footwear, so it was rough, but decent sneakers would do the trick in the summer

We took this short walk in September 2016. First we visited Northern Frontier Visitors Center in Yellowknife to get some information about Cameron Falls and possible hikes along Ingraham trail. We found out from materials we were given that there are two Cameron Falls Trails. Ramparts is the shorter and I´d say the easier one. The lenght of the trail... More

This was a great place for a quick hike with our small kids. The walk is pretty easy and short with a nice waterfall at the end as a pay off. Great place for a picnic and a swim.

Gorgeous trail and the falls are beautiful. Bring a lunch and picnic at the top of the falls after crossing the surprisingly pretty bridge. In the fall, you will be the only one there

Worth the drive on a partially gravelled road to get to the falls. Trail is well marked and flat. Good place to enjoy a picnic in front of the falls. Shared the space with one other family. Enjoyed listening to the water cascading down, very peaceful.

We enjoyed the 2.5 km hike through the woods and over the rocks to get to the beautiful falls - there is even a bridge over the river so you can see the falls from both sides!

Yes very supernatural and eerie place strange stone markers kept appearing and disappearing in the rocky spaces between trees, a strange Australian man in a t shirt kept also appearing and disappearing and following people, was he a serial killer or a ghost? Who can tell? I only know I saw him across the river staring at5 a couple paddling... More
