This is a very small wine vault. However, it is worth the short walk out of the central core. The tour guides portray a very interesting story which includes a Port tasting.

What an interesting place to tour, we received admission with our ticket from The Commissariat House. The smell test they have is super interesting!

A very interesting museum and tour dedicated to the Newman family and the connection between Portuguese port wine and Newfoundland. Very nicely done and great, informative tour with a sample of port at the conclusion. Don’t miss it!

We had a nice tour where we learned about the happenstance relationship Newfoundland had with Portuguese Port. It was an interesting story about the Newman family who were traders.

We've visited the Vault and got a unique experience of history by the person in charge. Charming, attentive and took her time to explained the history of the Vault and Porto tasting. Enjoyed our time over there. Thanks to the Vault.
