The weather was beautiful, we could see for miles, even saw an iceberg floating past Cape Spear. There is a lot to do on Signal Hill - try to do it all!! The Cabot Tower at the top can be accessed all the way to...More

This is the iconic walking trail in St Johns. We set out from the Quidi Vidi brewery, up the Ladies Lookout trail purely by chance & luckily found the least demanding route up which also passes by the Bald Eagle nest (visible with binocs). The...More

Nice view of the harbour - very windy; interesting display upstairs in the tower. Need a car or taxi to get there from downtown.

This is my second visit to St. John's. I have been lucky as it was sunny on both occasions (June and July). The vistas of the port, the city and the ocean are amazing! Take the time to walk the trails, go up the tower,...More

I've visited Signal Hill on a number of occasions. It never gets dull. The views are incredible. It is definitely worth the walk up the hill (or take a cab). It is especially worth setting your alarm early and watching the sunrise. It is incredible.

Views are great. The hike is intense. Going down is great! It would be nice if there were some guardrails on parts of the trail.

It's worth it to pay the $10 to see the tattoo. It's a reenactment with soldiers from the French and Indian War, The War of 1812, and World War One. The view from the park is beautiful, of course. We were blessed to meet a...More

We walked most of the trails and visited Cabot Tower and the Queens Batteries. It was a foggy day so no views. The walks were nice anyway and the history of the buildings was fascinating. On a clear day it must be spectacular!

Great view towards the sea and St.Johns. Easy to get there by car on city tour bus. Can walk there too if you like climbing a bit. At noon , they fired the canon. Fun for the kids. A must.

As far as I'm concerned, Signal Hill is a must for the view. The Rooms was good, but exhausting to see it all and if you're not into museums, don't go if you only have 4 days. We took an O'Brien's Bay Bulls boat tour and... More
