Hiked all the way up the hill. It is a hard hike. One of the members of our group got vertigo during one of the steep inclines. You feel like you accomplish something once you get to the top. We also could see whales once...More

The signal tower was somewhat interesting but the hiking and views were spectacular. The hike up the hill was quite challenging - recommend bringing lots of water.

On a warm, sunny day, our very first tourist adventure in NFLD was to Signal Hill. What a fortunate choice. Rarely does a famous historical site also offer such spectacular views of St. John's harbour and various seaside views. The visitor centre was excellent for...More

I'm not the biggest history buff, but the scenery was pretty. We saw Cape Spear, Signal Hill and Quidi Vidi all in a day as well as took a drive out to Ferryland.

We had a nice hike here. Amazing views. Military tattoo was good. Didn't realize we could've gone in the tower. A nice view of St Johns harbor.

As far as I'm concerned, Signal Hill is a must for the view. The Rooms was good, but exhausting to see it all and if you're not into museums, don't go if you only have 4 days. We took an O'Brien's Bay Bulls boat tour and... More
