This is a nice little waterfront park, with a fantastic view of the harbor and beyond. I love the two sculptures of the Newfoundland dogs -- nice touch! When I went, it was pretty dreary weather; otherwise, I would have stayed a while and savored...More

Harbourside Park was only two streets down from where I was staying in St. John's. With such clear and sunny weather the day I took a walk down, I was able to get a really lovely view of St. John's Harbour, the Narrows and Cabot...More

We stopped at this park many times on our trip to st johns. Has a lovely view and lots of places to sit to take in the scenery around. The statues of thw dogs were pretty and a nice view of the ships at sea!

Harborside Park was a photostop on our city bus tour, but I had to return during our free time for a closer look at the information boards that were clustered around this small park located near the harbor in downtown St. John's. These boards contained...More

We came to Newfoundland to see the ancestral home of our dogs, Newfoundlands of course! So I wanted to see some tributes to the dogs who were named for the province. Loved the statue, but that was a given. The park is clean, modern, easily...More

Find out about St. John's during WWI and WWII as well as many other historical events. Time well spent. Right downtown on the harbour.
