An amateur geologist's dream - to see the rocks and minerals of the earth's mantle, on the surface. you have to hike in a little ways, at the foot of the mountains, to see this, but I felt like I was on the moon (okay, I have never actually been to the moon, but the bare rock and barren surroundings... We did the hike to get to the top - very doable if you are in fair shape.... although, having said that, half of us bailed half-way up. Incredible view at top. Easy to follow paths.

Stunning views! Drive the coast of the Gulf of St. Lawrence to the end, pass Fishermans Cove, York Cove, Lark Cove and take the small hike to Cedar Cove, the drive is beautiful but the view at the end of the hike is priceless!

Yes this is a very cool area, off the beaten path for sure. The trail to Cedar Cove is worth it. But be aware that in tripadvisor someone has put its location in the Torngat Mountains which are, oh, 3000 km away from Corner Brook.

This mountain range is not really a "destination". The mountains can be seen from McIvers to Cornerbrook and are simply breath-taking

Beautiful scenery and trials. My only complaint is about the upkeep of the paths and poor signage. Bring your camera!

Blow-Me-Down mountains are awesome. Great place to hike or ski. If you like the outdoors in the winter time, then you should check out this place. Also great hiking in the summer.

The mountains are absolutely breathtaking to see and so worth the drive to go closer in town. We went on a cloudy day but it was still a very scenic drive and nice place to visit.

All the allure and geological coolness of the Tablelands without the Unesco poster. Enter the trail at Coppermine Brook and hike an hour or more for stunning vistas in all directions. Make sure to bring layers, it's windy. This area is also home to some amazing backcountry skiing, big lines and powder bowls. Search and you will find!

Enjoyed the chalet for it's beauty and good food. I did not try the trails but watched the Snowshoeing event.
