We went early Oct and everything was shut down for the season. We made stops for photos and fortunately we took sandwiches with us and we braved a very blustery picnic by the shore.

If driving keep your eyes peeled for pot holes. Let your passengers watch for places to pull over and take in the amazing costal views. Stop in the small town meet the nicest people you will come across. It's worth it!

The first half is very scenic and lovely ....it was foggy day and visibility was getting worse we we went back the way we came after about half way around to drive back out of it.

Roads are a bit hard to drive. You can't go fast. We were taking our boat so we missed time. But we had regrets to not had spent some days there !!! Maybe next time ! We hope. There is good things to see there...More
