Stay off the beach and out of the water. The testing is flawed and the results are days behind. Sewage from the over populated camp grounds and cottages is entering the water. The water is shallow and heats up with the sun, so bacteria flourish....More

We popped over to the beach in our travels from Moncton to PEI. It is a beautiful provincial beach with white sands and calm water. It is a little pricey at $13 per car that we tried to figure out what those funds go to...More

Very nice campground with full amenities such as power, water and sewer hookups, The washroom near the admin building is always immaculate with flush toilets and hot water. The shower is huge and extremely clean with ceramic floors. Only downfall is that the showers cost...More

Good place to see if you are in the area. 13 CAD per car. Water is warmer in the pm. :) It was very windy when we went.

Not as warm as St Thomas or as busy as Blackpool but this place has a natural beauty that is hard to beat. We spent a relaxing day walking, checking out crabs and jelly fish and watching the sail boats. Washrooms we very clean and...More

Visiting Shediac for the first time. Beach is beautiful. Sunsets amazing. Lots of little jelly fish but easy to stay away from the them.

This is one of the best beaches in Canada. However, you have to pay $13 per car to get in between 9 and 5. I recommend you wait until after 5 to go. The crowds clear out and the beach is far less crowded. The...More

We had a wonderful relaxing afternoon on the beach, strolling about and jumping into the ocean. Lots of room for all. Located near many restaurants, clam shacks. Great day.

We visited the beach on September 10th, 2016 and we parked right beside the beach. We walked up over the dunes and the beach was right there. I don't know when they did close the gates, but wasn't on 9/5/16.
