Do not miss this! We were fortunate to see both high and low tides. A visit is not complete without seeing this remarkable phenomenon. Over 160 billion tons of water move in and out of the Bay of Fundy, every day, twice a day!!

We took a tour of the highlights of St John. I would not recommend this. I understand the phenomenon, but it is loaded with buses and tourists. Also there is a huge paper mill sitting at the confluence. I would skip the whole thing.

Calm to calamity in a matter of hours. Mind boggling experience. We visited in the morning and returned six hours later. This is a must do experience.

We really enjoyed the falls, should be called rapids instead of falls. To truly get the overview you need to visit at low tide and again at high tide.

We took a reversing falls boat trip from Harbour side. $30 each. The greek guy selling tickets told us how fantastic it was going to be for one hour. We returned back after 40 mins having just had a geography lesson, when asked the "guide"...More

We hired Dave's Taxi. We were taken here first thing. Then after five hours our driver brought us back again. That allowed us to see the rapids going both directions. With most tours you only get one chance to view this which doesn't give you...More

Our Aquila Tour guide did a wonderful job of explaining the Reversing Falls but to really understand it, you have to go at different times of day according to the tides. We were on a Photography tour from a cruise ship, so understandably our time...More

Stopped on our way home. Nice parking area to view the falls. Rapids visible even an hour after high tide.

Took a private tour here in the morning at low tide and then in the afternoon at high tide...it actually goes both ways and is remarkable...enjoyed taking pictures here.

We toured with Freedom Tours and were very impressed by the reversal of the falls between our two visits. Such a contrast! In the early morning, very little water movement, by our afternoon return, rapids were reversed. Had a great and interesting tour.

I thought Hopewell rocks was the better of the two. Reversing falls is cool, but to see it at its best you have to time it completely correct. Hopewell rocks are similar with having to look at the time, but it has a lot... More
