Not fantastic but included on all the tours. Notable by all the tour buses that galvant through the residential neighborhood.

This is an interesting spot for a quick stop in St. John. Our tour guide told us the tower was designed on the Island of Corsica by the British, and it deflects cannonballs. He said it was built during the War of 1812. A nice...More

Very interesting story behind this fort. Even though the upper portion is showing some wear, the history and the lower portion is really cool. If your in town it's an easy trip up to see it.

The Carleton Martello Tower is one of the nine surviving Martello Towers in Canada. The Tower dates from the War of 1812.

We visited here and saw the tower. This stop didn't take long, not a whole lot to see. A lady fired a musket here.

The tower was closed due to reconstruction, but the view from up there was great. Built by the British it is in a strategic position.
