Ferry ride was excellent - a bit pricey but well worth the 2 hr plus crossing. It was a nice sunny day and lots of ship activities - very clean

We have used the ferry service for more than 30 years to cross from N.B. to N.S. and return. The Fundy Rose, in service for the last two years is larger and faster than previous ferries. We enjoyed the crossing on two perfectly calm and sunny days. The two hours passed very quickly.

The new ferry is a delight. All clean, pretty and new. Lots of amenities. Easy loading and off-loading. Trip got us to NS in reasonable time for a reasonable price

I have used Bay Ferries for years and the people there are nice but the service is aweful. I booked a return trip and the second leg was cancelled due to mechanical issues. They did not call my cell but called my house in another province. I'm pretty sure most people are not home when travelling to another province for... More

The ferry is an easy way to relax and get across the bay. I found it was much too expensive just for 2 people and our car, plus what they try to charge for food, drinks and snacks on it. If you're on a budget I would suggest saving your money and just drive into Nova Scotia. I have only... More

I call it a Luxury Item as it no longer is the best alternative to driving. The highways to NS are in fantastic condition and there is very little time saving. A pleasant voyage nonetheless. The meal was average.

No hassle, if a bit pricey, way to avoid driving all the way around the Bay of Fundy if you've already done so while going from NB to NS or vice versa. They seem quite efficient, and the ferry itself is clean and comfortable. Can't say much about the views - pea soup fog all the way across.

We recently made a tour of NS and NB during February vacation. We took the ferry from St John to Digby and we're so glad we did! The ferry crossing was wonderful - we were expecting a three hour crossing at this time of the year and we clocked in at about 2 hours and 15 minutes. The ship is... More

So disappointed, was planning on spending 1 week traveling around Nova Scotia for a "staycation" in June. But gobsmacked at the price to get there, even driving up to St. John's to lessen the cost. Its over $500 to get our family of 4 (2 adults + 2 kids) and our car to Nova Scotia. We could fly somewhere for... More
