We had excellent seats in row 4. It was nice to see a different type of play & this time it was a Western. The gunfire made us all jump, even though we were expecting the noise. This was great value for our money. My only suggestion is that they start the afternoon performance at 1 pm, instead of 2... More

Saw Sonia Vanya Masha and Spike and it was a great way to spend the evening. John Hirsch theatre was cozy and the way that it was vaulted I'm not sure that there was a bad seat in the house! Worth the ticket price!

Went for the first time to this theatre with a friend last night and have to say : wow, very nice. Performance of cabaret play was just amazing. There were barely any seats left. Performers did amazing job. My favourite was performance of the song "tomorrow belongs to me " a capella by several "solders" in a different places of... More

I can best describe The Heart of Robin Hood as a clever bit of fluff-- perfect for pre-Christmas viewing. The set is key. It is a hill or slope with handholds and platforms for the actors to run up and down. This arrangement and the greenery and costumes make the play visually interesting. The actors are athletic and flexible and... More

The Heart of Robin Hood was amazing from beginning to end! Did not expect such an action packed evening! Prior to the commencement of the play, the band was entertaining and some of the musicians mingled with the audience as we found our seats. There was never a dull moment! So much going on! The set was great, acting was... More

Just saw The Heart of Robin Hood and loved every second of it! Be sure to go into the theatre early enough to hear the pre-show set by the "house band", Parsonsfield. They start about 20 minutes before the official show time. They're an interesting cross between Bluegrass and Folk, and they are SUPER energetic and great musicians, and they... More

MTC is a great venue! Theplays every year are very different! Such a variety of tastes. It is a great venue. Not a bad seatin the house. So many restaurants in the area to have a bite after or before the play.
