Drove up from Vancouver to visit this place. The drive in it self is and experience. The Sea to Sky highway is very picturesque and takes your breath away. Whistler is essentially a winter sport place and in summers mountain biking is popular there as...More

A sip of coffee in Rendez-Vous restaurant looking at the views from here has different taste each season. Perfect spot for skiing, snowshoeing, hiking or simply relaxing & enjoying the views.

As a skier I loved the wideness of these slopes. I felt at times I was ski-ing on my own as I was not constantly having to dodge people. The routes are clearly marked with name and colour so you have no issues with not...More

Small but very happening place with restaurants & shops along the Main Street. Winter Olympic 2010 was played here. Plenty of skiing activity even though it is 2nd week of May. Small trails to explore.

Tom, Can you suggest the best runs that are less crowded - and for intermediate skiers and snowboarders? My 25 year old daughter (snowboarder) and her 30 year old boyfriend (skier) will be there for about 3-4 days in late March-early April and none of us have ever skied at Whistler before. Any suggestions welcome! I think they may take a lesson for a bit on the first day since it has been some time since either has skied. Thanks! Renee

I'd do it first thing in the morning & give yourself at least 2 hours. The Whistler Village Gondola up is 20 mins, Peak 2 Peak 11 minutes, so at ridiculous speed it takes 62 minutes, but you'll want to take pictures, look... More

What are the best runs for kids ages 7-10? They are moderate skiers and we'd like to try snowboarding. Can anyone recommend good snowboarding instructors/schools etc. for kids these ages? Thank you!!
