We managed to get into the glass bottom gondola. The "underside" view of the terrain with the tree tops, streams, paths, etc was something else. Don't miss getting into this gondola; I think there are only three of these units.

Even though it was raining, this gondola ride going from Blackcomb to Whistler mountains was a spectacular experience. This marvel holds 2 world records, highest lift and longest unsupported span. And the view, in spite of bad weather, was remarkable. Highly recommend this thrill!

Impressive feat of engineering, with a smooth ride. This is the fastest way to go from peak to peak. It can be a little freaky, if you're afraid of heights.
