It's historic and beautiful, so what more can you ask for. It's full of boats with shops and restaurants close by. Right across from the Empress Hotel which is the perfect spot to enjoy the view from and you should see both together. Enjoy!

Nice streetwalk area with lots of little shops and pubs. Great place to sit and have a quick meal or a drink while watching people pass in the summer. Everyone so friendly.

Victoria feels nostalgic and it has a great ambiance, we enjoyed a stroll and enjoying the beautiful views of the harbor with boats and yachts sailing in and sea planes flying in. Magical atmosphere, quite touristy but interesting with historical significance and depth.

Visited in July 2015. We had a whale excursion from wharf street. We briefly walked around after it enjoying the waterfront with the many boats in the harbour. We came back later that evening to have dinner so we walked around some more. Then the next day we checked out some of the area and shops looking for a lunch... More

This is a get place for a stroll during anytime of the year. Especially during the busier time of year (noted by my summertime pictures). However it's also a nice area to enjoy the sites & sounds, even during the cooler/ winter season, enjoying the Christmas lights.

We loved strolling along the Victoria Pier after a ride on the harbour little ferry/water taxis. This is a very picturesque area where one can relax, grab a snack, sit back and watch the scenery, buskers and people going by. Lots of interesting things to observe.

We came here last April and fell in love with Victoria and the inner harbour. Coming from the Maritimes it was hard to impress us but Victoria did it. We moved here this past September. There is always activity and it is well kept. You can sit and watch for hours. Reminds me so much of Halifax Harbour.

A quaint, lovely, and blooming harbor. Enjoyed the lovely walk and see breeze. Parliament building is colossal. People are friendly. A short 1.5 hrs ferry ride from Port Angeles Washington.
