We visited the BC Museum after the afternoon tea at the Empress; I am not a museum person, but we went anyway and I enjoyed it. The displays here showing various stages of human history are interesting and some are interactive.

A wonderful museum and theatre. Right now they have a special attraction about Wooly Mammoths. It is located right downtown. If the weather is bad put this on your schedule. Great for families.

This was a wonderful experience. We saw "Beautiful Planet" at the Imax and then spend the next few hours in the Mammoth exhibit. Well worth the time and money.

Hey Misty, Google maps says it is a 23 minute walk from Ogden point, where the cruise ships come in. Not too bad, all flat ground and if you follow the water, some very nice things to see like the inner harbour and... More

Is it best to purchase your tickets in advance? We will be travelling to Victoria in July, during its busy tourist season so would like to avoid line ups when we can.
