We walked thru this park on a Sunday of a. Long weekend, it wasn’t crowded at all, which was great because we had a baby stroller. The paths are well maintained; garbage receptacles are available and there is a children’s playground in the park. We...More

I liked the peacocks roaming there, the huge moss lady, a big variety of ducks, and apparently there are turtles (I didn't see any but my friend said they live there). Altogether a great place to stroll around, and even do a little detour down...More

A park that Victorians have insisted stay as natural as possible, with fallen trees decaying into wildlife refuges, and tall grass staying that way. You will have unforgettable glimpses of songbirds as well as the beloved peacocks. It is a beautiful walk.

Overnight parking is not permitted in the Park. There is a general provision in the Victoria By-Laws that also limits parking in parks to 3.5 hours during the day. I doubt if this is enforced in Beacon Hill though.

Yes , it is dog friendly provided that WOOF is on a lead. Certain areas such as the zoo area do not allow dogs inside that area. A large area , just across from Beacon Hill park ( along side waters edge) is a great area for... More
