I only knew about Emily Carr's paintings until I visited her house. This house is run as a small museum both inside and out and is not to be missed. Lots of clear placards describing everything. You will enjoy this hidden gem.

We spent about An hour at the house and garden. We watched a fascinating film by the National Film Board of Canada. They have a tea and refreshment area but we did not have time to enjoy it as we had another engagement.
