This is a fantastic set of sculptures in a park purely for pleasure! This is meant to engage people and to make them laugh and it really succeeds! A terrific idea. A wonderful sight worth visiting.

This is a great set of sculptures - designed to make people chuckle/laugh/smile! The larger than life statues are all in various laughter poses and it is fun to imitate them for a photo! Definitely worth a look, especially if you are walking or cycling along the beachfront.

Thus is such a great idea! Loved it! We had so much fun and my moody tween even got out of her mood!! We took many fun photos too. Loved this place. May visit daily for a laughter fix

Fantastic sculptures made out of metal. Made one laugh! I think well worth stopping and checking out! Great photo opportunity. I really love the concept and purpose statement: "may this sculpture insure laughter playfulness, and joy in all who experience it".
Very nice sculpture with an incredible view from the English Bay and surroundings.

This was interesting and different when it was unveiled a couple of decades ago but is now tired and overdue for for a change. Most people are puzzled and sometimes ask what it's about or find it mildly grotesque. Considering the prime location on a stunning view of the Bay, the city deserves something else now.

Better in person. Just being there was making me smile even with the light drizzle of rain around. And right across from. English Bay!

Despite not being art lovers, we really enjoyed this great piece of artwork near the junction of Denman Street and Beach Avenue. The figures are basically people laughing in various poses and definitely made us smile. Near English Bay and Stanley Park at the edge of Denman village it is worth visiting.

Utterly charming in their simplicity and infectious in their laughter, it is hard to linger long without smiling wide yourself at this mirthful statuary. Definitely merits a visit (and likely a silly photo or two with family members).

Kudos to the visionary creator, artist Yue Minjun, as well as the Wilson Family, who funded this happy distraction from a weary world.

Our bus tour stooped here for some pictures. There was a lot of care that was put into these statues. Such a great find!
