This university is relatively big and has a small fountain and some eateries onsite as well. It is located close to so many parks and garden. Really nice to visit together with a visit to the rose garden, botanic garden, wreck beach, etc.

We didn't have much time to explore. We were there for a convocation ceremony. Spent some time in a lovely rose garden.

Walking through the campus I felt as if it was a completely self-contained city. The gardens were extremely well manicured and made me wish I was young again so I could become part of this learning institute.

There aren't a huge amount of sit-and-eat restaurants per se on the campus - there is Mahony and Sons, The Pointe Grill and a few others, but the rest are more casual/quick bite or fast food type eats.

You can use Bus 44 to get to the Faculty of Education at UBC from your corner at Thurlow and pacific street. (I cannot post a google maps link; yet it is easy to search using Google maps from your end)
