Beautiful natural setting in a rural environment. Large campus and visited the botanical garden which was also extensive but at end of season. Walked down hundreds of steps to Wreck Beach. Lovely vista.

Ubc is a huge university situated with trees and botanical gardens and a museum. The architecture is great, you can feel the history, it has a Japanese garden, and you can drive all around and enjoy the view as its close to the ocean.

There aren't a huge amount of sit-and-eat restaurants per se on the campus - there is Mahony and Sons, The Pointe Grill and a few others, but the rest are more casual/quick bite or fast food type eats.
