Very central and although busy a good place to sit and watch the world go by. People from all over the world, literally. Plenty of places to eat, get coffee or shop and, of course, visit the library itself.

The big attraction is the beautiful new library. The square around it is open space featuring restaurants and some shopping. Near downtown.

Quite an eyeful and unusual. Lots of little shops and of course the library, which is really great. There is a construction site underway which may detract, but still worth a look.

OK - the curving exterior walls are a pleasant change from the rectangular blocks of offices that surround the library, but other than stopping for some photos, don't plan to spend much time here. The "open area" in front of the building is full of...More

The curved lines are a delight. There are around a dozen small shops in the covered walkway through. It houses the public library which was very popular when we looked in.

We discovered this area while walking around Vancouver. Consolidating Vancouver Public Library's Central Branch, Federal Office Tower, and retail and service facilities, the Library Square occupies a city block in Downtown Vancouver. This is definitely an area worth visiting.
