GRANVILLE ISLAND MARKET TOUR - This tour showcases a cornucopia of fine foods from independent farmers and food artisans throughout Vancouver. WORLD'S BEST FOOD TRUCK TOUR - This tour takes you on a two-hour tasting tour of Vancouver's multicultural curbside kitchens while learning about the tricky business of operating gourmet food trucks in Vancouver.

GUILTY PLEASURES GOURMET TOUR - Showcasing over five of downtown Vancouver's award-winning restaurants and food shops, you will sample gourmet food paired with optional wines and beer, meet award-winning food artisans and learn about Vancouver's food culture, history and architecture.

My husband and I did the Granville Market Tour with Nadia and we loved this tour. I've been on literally about 15 food tours in different parts of the world and this was among the best! We had been to Granville Market before so I was a bit concerned it would treading old ground but it actually encouraged us to... More

Great way to sample some of the wonderful food that Vancouver has to offer. I was asked at the end of the tour what my favourite stop was and I really couldn't decide! Nadia was a fantastic guide. Full of enthusiasm with loads of knowledge, having worked as a chef for many years.

I really liked the tour and especially Tracy was a very good guide! I loved her enthusiasm and knowledge about the history of this part of town and of course the food. We also had a very good group, which made the tour even more enjoyable.

The Foodies tour can set you up for a guided tour through this varied gastronomic landscape if you dont have the time to just wander. When eating out in YVR I make a habit of ordering 2 entrees ( pre main course dishes for those whose gastronomic language differs slightly). That way i get to sample twice as many dishes... More

We did the Gastronomic Gastown Tour. Great visit and explanations of the history of Gastown. 4 stops at restaurants: 6 acres, Meat and Bread , Nicli Antica Pizzeria and Mosquito dessert. All excellent and different. Tracy was also very good at pointing out other restaurants in this very dynamic area.

I recently surprised my girlfriend with the Guilty Pleasures tour; needless to say, we were both very happy with the experience having never been before. We had Nadia as a tour guide who was very knowledgeable and friendly! I would very much recommend the tour to anyone else, based both on the tour guide and the quality of the foods... More

Staying in Gastown

Neighbourhood Profile
Gastown
A visit to Gastown is like turning back the clock and stepping into a bygone era. With the distinction of being Vancouver's oldest neighborhood, the many plaques that stud the cobbled streets of Gastown tell the story of its colorful past, giving Vancouver's history a more lively presence here than anywhere else. Having been originally founded around a popular worker's saloon, it's no wonder that today some of Vancouver's best micro-breweries, creative cocktail joints, and corner bars can be found in this area. Classical charm suffuses its many vintage boutiques and the brick-built structures that an army of creative professionals call home.
