We took an Alaskan cruise leaving from Vancouver and had one day to spend in the city. One Sunday, to be precise. I looked into hop-on/hop-off but didn't really like it that much because it would be impossible to see all the sights without being rushed. So I booked this tour and it was fantastic! It hit most of the... More

WOW! And the biggest most appreciative THANK YOU to GREG from City Cycle Tours for an incredible Bike Tour Experience! My son (almost 13 and a bike-mad to the point of constantly going off-road) and I did the tour on a day that apparently was a ‘weather event’ in Vancouver – snow and ‘snain’ and sleet and so cold. But... More

We did the Grand Tour, and it was a good way to see the city. The tour guide was nice and friendly, and the tour was well organized. This tour is mostly flat with one big hill leaving Stanley Park. Stanley Park was the best part of the tour. If I had to do it over, I might just do... More

We rented bikes for the family to ride around Stanley Park. This place came highly recommended from the concierge at the Pan Pacific Hotel. The bikes were in great shape and came with locks for when we had to park them. Would definitely use them again. I was so glad our kids got the chance to ride around in such a... More

I loved this tour. It is such a great way to see a bit of everything in Vancouver. Our guide, Greg, was super fun and gave us a lot of information. Definetly recommend to everyone.

Great way to spend the day and see a lot of Vancouver. Our guide, Paulo, did an awesome job - he knows a lot about the city!It was really nice having a guide instead of trying to find our way around on our own. We got to see a lot of different areas. Really enjoyed Stanley Park and the stop... More

My husband and I just returned from the Grand Tour of Vancouver. Our guide, Paulo O'Connor, was friendly, knowledgeable and provided a lot of information throughout our tour. Although it rained the entire time and we were the only guests, it was such a fun adventure biking through the City of Vancouver and seeing things on a bike we would... More

Had a fabulous ride. The guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. The weather was good too! One highlight was the hidden lake in Stanley Park with all the work done by the beavers. They had been busy!

I was on a trip here and had limited time. Even though the other party cancelled, I was the only participant and they conducted the tour for me. Nick, the guide showed me around and despite's he rain, went through the entire tour which impressed me. If it weren't for my wet clothes, I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries. With behemoth architecture and a professional air, Downtown means business.
