We attended a concert by Colin James. I generally prefer my rock concerts outdoors, standing up, but given the weather we have been having recently I was glad to be indoors. More suited for a classical concert - it is the home of Vancouver's Symphony...More

I read some of the critical reviews of this place and I feel like they are unfounded. My wife and I attended the Verdi's Requiem and we had a good time. The seats were what you would expect and the acoustics were great. The inside...More

Cold evening of October, after a rainy day...nice to be inside with good friends and to listen a new selection of music: Mozart, Berg and Rachmaninov...The first part was not on my taste, but Rachmaninoff's Symphony No. 2 in E Minor. was great. I have...More

My wife and I visited the Orpheum as part of the Music of David Bowie (with the VSO). We were seated in the lower balcony area. The nightlines are fairly good. The seats are average but not too uncomfortable. We found it to be quite...More

They don't build them like this anymore. We were there for a Passenger concert, and both loved it. The concert was fantastic, and the theater just gorgeous. It's a great smaller venue for a close experience with the performers. Old world charm at its best!

Home of the Vancouver Philharmonic Orchestra, this venue was rather disappointing with a large group of "street folk" camped on the pavement at the main entrance.

Was here for Steven Tyler with Loving Mary band. We were seated in the middle of the upper balcony. Great looking venue - very cool just to be in the building. Smaller venue for this kind of concert so we were closer to the stage...More

If you are not going to sit closer to the front, I'd find a seat in the upper balcony and bring binoculars.

There really is not a bad seat in the house; however, if you are wanting to see something close then I would avoid that upper balcony.

Inside of Orpheum, there is a kind of bar. You can have a drink some icecream, but for food you should go outside. Plenty of choices for every taste.
