Unfortunately we considered our visit to the Museum of Vancouver a bit disappointing. The majority of the exhibits in the History Galleries captured the passing of time from early history to the 1970's, but the Feature Galleries during our visit were underwhelming. We purchased a...More

The museum is not the easiest to visit by public transport and certainly not worth the entrance fee. We were assured that our ticket covered entry to the nearby Maritime Museum as well, but it didn't and we had to pay again. We felt that...More

This is probably a great museum if you are a local kid on a school trip, but it is very expensive for a badly narrated museum that didn't leave us feeling like we were any better informed about the history of the city. We also...More

Small but interesting, not many exhibitions and got around in about an hour, and that was taking our time, so we did not find it worth the money and were disappointed, we got the combined ticket which included the space centre next door, which was...More

This museum is great, and even the children liked it too. Each exhibit had something different to offer and they were all very educational. If you go try taking the bus as the parking is not worth it. Whats even more convenient is that the...More

You won't need 2 hours to go round this place unless you see the space bit. We got round the museum in just over an hour and that's taking our time. The displays and information were interesting and informative and tracks the history of the...More

It was very entertaining and quite interesting voyage through the story of Vancouver. We spent 2 hours only with the permanent exhibit.

Looks small on the map but there is a lot to see. We were here for about an hour and enjoyed the trip through history. I especially enjoyed the 60s and 70s, very cool

One of the favoured neighbourhoods for a day out,
Granville Island's packed theatres and art studios,
hobby shops and book stores, restaurants and bars, all
offer a plethora of activities and entertainment
options, leaving no one bored. The highlight of the
area is the Fisherman's Wharf, where the seagulls
overhead and the smell of the sea invigorate its many
visitors, some of who are there to shop the fresh

Make sure it's Science World though, not Science Museum! Have fun!
