Cathedral is just average considering the size of the city. Went there for Sunday mass and the service and sermon where also average. OK place but not a special place to visit except if you are in the area and want to attend a service

I went to attend Sunday mass in this church and found it beautiful inside and outside. Clean lines exuding strength and beauty in its simplicity. There were plenty of stained glass windows to add color inside the church.

This cathedral is beautiful and an interesting example of architecture in Vancouver. Parking is very limited and it is a functioning church so be sure to check the schedule when you want to visit.

I went here, expecting something grand, as befits a major city. Instead, I found a rather simple building, compared to other cathedrals I've visited worldwide. The sandstone exterior features late 19th-century French Gothic Revival. Focal points are two asymmetric bell towers, which I found to...More

Interesting place to visit when in downtown Vancouver one of the oldest churches still standing. Pope John Paul II stayed there in 1984. Sundays and Wednesdays they hold Catholic Mass so you can attend or avoid the crowds, depending on your faith, if any. Often...More

Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is
bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their

Closest hotel and one with excellent amenities, service, & accommodations is L'Hermitage. It is less than 2 blocks up Richards St. from the cathedral. The cathedral has four daily masses and confession several times a day... More
