Gorgeous beach, scenic and not too busy on weekdays. Reasonable parking prices, and good to stop there on your way to rent bikes for Stanley Park.

This is a wonderful area in Vancouver, very open so even on a busy day it does not feel crowded. The view is beautiful and it is close to shops and restaurants and Stanley Park. Lots of benches to stop for a rest and enjoy...More

The history of this little bay is interesting and it still attracts celebrities to nearby hotels but I guess coming from Australia we just said, "Call that a Bay?" It is located in a good spot for residents of Vancouver and I imagine in summer...More

Stroll the shores of English Bay. Watch the ships at anchor waiting to get into port. Sit on the beach. Watch the people go by.

One of the more beautiful places to enjoy life on the West Coast. I go whenever I visit home. Great to walk, picnic, or just relax and people-watch.

With a clear sky, strolling through this place is probably going to make your day worth it. The scenery is so beautiful! You can also ride a bike, play with the kids or just sit a while and carpe diem.

This is a good place to come and people watch and relax. Bring a picnic and watch how the city folk relax. An essential green space for those high rise dwellers. watch Canadians at play.

What a lovely part of Vanscouver. It's got everything from dog walkers to cyclists (mad, normal), health nuts, families, kayakers, and GREAT views. The best time is late afternoon for sunset viewing.

verdant gardens and blocky modern architecture, with
Victorian bits and Edwardian bobs in between. It is a
paradise for takeout food, take-away coffee, and
perhaps incongruously, some of Vancouver's most
languid lines of beachfront. English Bay and Sunset
Beach invite swimmers, strollers, and picnic-lovers to
take in dusk settling over the water, or to jog along
