The Wall Centre Garden Hotel is a modern, clean and well run establishment that is ideally situated in downtown Vancouver and within walking distance of the main shopping areas. Very nice gardens and plenty of space are at the entrance to this hotel - check-in was fast and painless.

For the last 5 years I have made this hotel my first choice. The floor to ceiling windows are the key. I always book a high room to take advantage of the excellent views. Not only is this a tall hotel but it is located on the highest point in downtown Vancouver. The area is great, close to Yale town,... More

Nothing stands out about this hotel aside from the jaw-dropping view from the top floors. Any day of the year, any season, it's worth it to splurge on a higher view room!

I attended a conference here and was close to everything including the Skytrain. The downtown architecture and shopping are great and it's walking distance from Stanley Park and many other sights.

Staying in Granville Street

Neighbourhood Profile
Granville Street
Granville Street spans many, multiple city blocks and has become so fastidiously known for its nightclubs and watering holes that it's fondly nicknamed the city's 'Entertainment District.' Friday and Saturday nights are the most popular and lively, with young revelers taking to the streets in droves and keeping the party going until late. Granville Street, being mostly open to pedestrian-only traffic, has a healthy social life along its main thoroughfares, even outside of its cafes and pubs, spilling onto the sidewalks. The locals are chatty, the shops at its expansive Pacific Centre Mall are trendy, and the whole area seems to be on a sugar rush: in a good way. Exuberance and camaraderie classify this neighbourhood.
