Be aware it's a kids attraction, although adults can have a lot of fun too! Lots of hands-on experiments, games and shows.

We had some time to spare before our train back to Washington and it's right next to the Amtrack station so that was a plus. The exhibits are very interesting my favorite one was the animal section and they had a live beehive and the bees can go in and out as they please it was really cool. We went... More

After a couple days sight-seeing, this was a welcome break for my young kids. The entrance fee was a bit pricey, but in the end they had such a great time I forgot about it. Lots of fun, hands-on activities for a variety of age groups, and lots to learn about science.

We took our four grandchildren, ages 5 to 13, at opening. They were mesmerized for several hours. We had to coax them to move from one area to the next. We watched several of the presentations held on the hour, and we watched the Humpback Whale documentary at the Omnimax theater. Every one of these was outstanding.

We were there and we regret that moment. There is nothing there, videos super boring, games super basic, there were only a couple of things entertaining for kids: the bee hive and the opportunity to play with guinea pigs. Nothing else was really interesting. For adults without kids don't waste your time and money.

took a 4-year-old granddaughter but the oldsters had a lot of fun too; lots of hands-on things for kids but a lot of interest to adults.

Outside is better then inside. It's expensive to visit and you can stay outside enjoying wonderful view of the site.

Even though it says it's for kid it's an absolutely must for the entire family! We had so much fun with the exhibitions and I also learned so much - they make learning fun and an interactive experience.

Staying in Yaletown & False Creek North

Neighbourhood Profile
Yaletown & False Creek North
Yaletown has risen from the ashes of its rough-and-tumble industrial past into one of Vancouver's new chicest neighbourhoods. The place responsible for originating of the phrase 'skid row' might not call to mind independently-owned boutiques and terraced cafes, but having swallowed the waterfront lines of False Creek North, the resulting amalgamation transformed the area into an elegant, stylish hotspot with a view. Its youthful vibe owes to the many young families and young professionals who live there, bolstering nightlife and restaurant variety along its cobbled streets. It is the flagship neighbourhood for modern revitalization, and the It-Spot for boutique hotels and modish eats.
