Great for a rainy day

A great place to spend a rainy day with kids of all ages. Hands on learning, and a show every hour too. The cafe is like a fastfood burger place, not bad at all.

The staff were quite kind to my school group coming in, a group of loud grade sixes and sevens. I did quite enjoy myself, but there many of the hands-on activities that my friends took a look at were clearly for kids around the age of seven or eight. The film in the large theater was educational, as were all... More

The game room is HUGE and many of them are equally as fascinating to comprehend as they are fun to play with. I stayed for 6 hours and wanted to stay for longer. Not to mention The featured Quantum exhibit blew my mind and I am now avidly reading about the subject. I will be back I guarantee it.

Went there during school break....place was a hive of activity. There are many activities that can be undertaken..some quite challenging. If you get stuck, there are staff to help you out. In any season this would be a great place to visit. Recommended

Our family thoroughly enjoyed this museum which is full of interactive hands on exhibits. The Imax movie was also fantastic. A great day!

The adult night at the Science World is a good choice to whoever likes science in an entertainment way. The adult night brings you back to live a teenager life with a lot of fun and curiosity!!!! Grab a beer and enjoy the night. Very very interesting!!

My husband and I visited Science World on a cold, rainy Vancouver afternoon because we knew it was an indoor attraction. We had fun, and it was cool, but we don't have kids and we're not used to being around a lot of kids. This is a very kid-friendly and kid-centric place, so there were tons of kids and families... Staying in Yaletown & False Creek North

Neighbourhood Profile
Yaletown & False Creek North
Yaletown has risen from the ashes of its rough-and-tumble industrial past into one of Vancouver's new chicest neighbourhoods. The place responsible for originating of the phrase 'skid row' might not call to mind independently-owned boutiques and terraced cafes, but having swallowed the waterfront lines of False Creek North, the resulting amalgamation transformed the area into an elegant, stylish hotspot with a view. Its youthful vibe owes to the many young families and young professionals who live there, bolstering nightlife and restaurant variety along its cobbled streets. It is the flagship neighbourhood for modern revitalization, and the It-Spot for boutique hotels and modish eats.
