Along Sunset Beach and Second Beach, Third Beach is a bit off the main 'area'. It is a nice walk on the seawall and a bit more reclusive them the others. Used to be very calm, but these days is also full with locals and...More

We stopped off at Third Beach whilst on a cycle ride to Prospect Point from the entrance to Stanley Park from Downtown. This was perfect as it is roughly half way up and provides a chance to stop and relax. The beach itself is full...More

The beaches in Vancouver are always FULL with residents and visitors, walking, sitting and reading or playing volleyball. The view of Vancouver City is wonderful, and have attracted many artists with its beauty. Definitely worth a visit especially on a nice sunny day.

Although our visit to Canada was not going to be a beach holiday we knew that we would have access to beaches and Vancouver has several small beaches around the seawall.. The Third Beach is at Stanley Park where we paid a visit.

Another great reason to walk the seawall track round Stanley Park. Stopped for a little while. Dipped my feet in the water (cold) and sat and watched people enjoying themselves.

We came across Third Beach as we walked around the seawall at Stanley Park. It is smaller than the other two beaches and was very busy the Saturday afternoon we visited. Lots of bikes and we thought the sea wasn't all that clean. Interesting stone...More

Stanley Park
Stanley Park is Vancouver's premier spot to get up
close and personal with nature and animals. The grassy
expanse offers outdoor teahouses and stunning views,
beachfront hideaways and splash parks. It is a typical
getaway spot for friends and families, especially as
it is home to Vancouver's aquarium, and some of its
best equestrian outlets.
