Stanley Park is Vancouver's premier spot to get up close and personal with nature and animals. The grassy expanse offers outdoor teahouses and stunning views, beachfront hideaways and splash parks. It is a typical getaway spot for friends and families, especially as it is home to Vancouver's aquarium, and some of its best equestrian outlets.

I wasn’t overly impressed with this pool. The other reviews had me thinking it was going to be pretty amazing, so I was surprised when I saw it. I will say, it was quite nice to relax in the pool with my daughter after biking around Stanley Park. It was not crowded in the pool at all, so overall it was a pleasant experience. I loved the shallow water, which was perfect for my child who cannot yet swim. The water temperature was a little chilly for us, but it was tolerable. There are lockers to keep your items safe. They are a good size - I fit my backpack and shoes in one - and very inexpensive.
As for the cons- The restrooms and changing areas are outside of the gated pool area. The restrooms smelled of urine and were not that clean. Also, I felt very awkward crossing through a busy area in my swim clothes where people were eating and socializing outside of the pool area. Within the pool, there are signs that tell you to be aware of a sticky substance in the pool that can ruin your swimsuit. It was minimal and didn’t pose a problem for us, but it is worth mentioning.
Overall, we enjoyed our break at the pool, but I definitely would not go out of my way to visit this place.

If you are looking to do laps while visiting Vancouver this is the place for you. 3 50meter lanes slow medium and fast. Business depends of the time of day and day of the week. Once your laps done you are able to enjoy the rest of the pool or space around the pool. You are able to leave and come back on the same day as long as you stamp your hand before you leave. There is a food stand outside the pool area. The only down side the public washrooms not the greatest however there is an area to change next to the washroom.

There was so much goose feces in the pool today. Surprised they let people swim in the pool. A very beautiful location though.

We did not go in to the pool. However, there are two playgrounds close by and a walking/bike path. Our children especially enjoyed the playground.

If you are walking the seawall, consider this spot, near km 9, as a rest stop. Great views, washrooms, and concessions (which weren't open when I came through), parking and a playground.

Clean waters and fun slide for kids. Families will love to play on the beach in summers. Shacks available near by for food and drinks.

After a day biking this place offered a much needed cooling spot. Pool was clean, it offered a place to change and also a concession with drinks and food.

many people will just go in the water at the beach at second beach instead of the pool, but they are missing out. first of all, you pay once and if you stamp your hand you can go in and out during that day. the pool is heated and so it is warmer than the ocean and cleaner. there are lanes where you can do laps. there are a couple of slides and one baby one for the little kids. there are showers if you want to get clean and go somewhere after. my kids will spend a couple of hours in the pool. you can go play, eat and go back if you want to.

Hi. Is there somewhere to secure bicycles? We were thinking of renting and cycling the sea wall with a break at the pool for a dip.
Written 15 July 2019
Yes they have bicycle rack however you need your own lock 🔐
