A great introduction to Tofino: we even got the atmospherics of moisture clouding up the beach at high tide. Driftwood Cafe for lunch with a view (try the green apple juice based smoothie with kale spinach peach etc). Then a walk back in full sun...More

Beautiful spot but very windy on day I was there. Nice place for a walk to listen and watch ocean. Stroll out to look at the ocean life in various pools depending on tide. Relaxing beauty at it's finest.

Most of the beaches are amazing here in Tofino, but this one sets it apart. A little more quaint/charming. Nice trails nearby too!

A great broad beach at low tide, and still very walkable at high tide. Fun walking out to Frank's Island at low tide and watching surfers.

This is a beautiful spot, with a huge beach that is exposed when the tide is out. Wonderful for long walks, and fun to watch the surfers.

Absolutely safe for kids to swim!!! They might not get in all the way cuz it's rippin cold but...... Absolutely safe for kids. When tide is up, the water isn't very deep. No big waves either.
