The trail head offers two walks, one to the beach and another to Industrial Road - home of Tofino Brewery. Bothe walks are about 20 - 30minutes each way. The beach is not a big beach but is a great place for the kids to play. You can stop at the Co-op deli and make a salad to go and... More

Great walk down to the bay. It was a bit up hill and down dale but nothing too strenuous and well worth it. The trail extension to the next bay is still being worked on at the moment but we did sneak down there, beautiful.

This is an amazing trail, and they are adding on to it again. Lots of access to wonderful beaches and sweeping ocean vistas. This is a must do

The trail along the coast is amazing with great views, but the access routes were not great. Lots of loose rock, uneven and muddy. This being said we are at the beginning of the season so hopefully it will be fixed soon.

Reached by a well marked trail from the edge of Tofino. The trail system is being extended to reach other beaches. Great trails through the rainforest and then you get the stunning views. Great for families.

This is a nice hike with great views of the ocean.. Nice slightly steep hike through the forest to several lookout points over the ocean.

We stayed for three days in the Tonquin Park area. We cycled everywhere, Into town to got to SoBo's to eat. Small beach at the park but they are putting in traiils so you can hike over to Middle beach lodge.

This was a really nice walk along the pathway to the beach. There was lots of sealife at the beach to see. You could find starfish under the rocks if you looked closely. The cave was really cool.

The beaches were gorgeous with soft sand, rocks, and cool looking inlets/caves! Be careful climbing/walking on the rocks as even with grip, you can fall! Lots of beautiful properties along the beaches but doesn't take away from the natural beauty itself! So glad we checked it out!

We took a hike down the Tonquin Trail and enjoyed the fresh air, trees and the natural setting along with the exercise. The park and beach were all right although this particular beach is rather small compared to the other beaches in the area
