A bit of a walk in, most (if not all) on boardwalk though. I recommend some water shoes, as the rocks in the cove can be rough on bare feet. Need to arrange a water taxi or other boat service to get there, we were...More

So the hot springs and walk through the forest was great - however we went in November and there were about 10 people there - and even that was a squeeze at the springs. Our boat captain said that about 200-300 people arrive there in...More

We visited Hot Springs Cove via a boat trip through Jamie's Whale Watching Company. While we thought we were just getting transportation to the hot springs, our captain pointed out sea otters, a gray whale, and narrated our ride - a real bonus to our...More

While the hot springs were certainly unique and very relaxing, the walk through the woods was my favorite part. The setting reminded me of the beauty that can be seen in every moment. The walk is a healthy one and the springs require some careful...More

The hot springs are delightful and really relaxing - and free, but best early morning or late evening when the tourist boats have left - very difficult for most people who do not have their own travel options! Now on the main tourist circuit so...More

Took Jamie's Tours out to visit the hot springs. Went first thing in the morning so the bulk of crowds were arriving as we left. Witnessed the eclipse (not total, but still cool) while soaking in the pools.

A 20-30 minute boardwalk hike from the pier, this is a small rocky canyon on the tip of land into which hot spring water filters. The ocean end is blocked such that the hot water doesn't escape too quickly, but is still subject to wave...More

The hot springs tour is a 2 hr boat trip each way,a 30/40 hike on a man made board walk through the forest, that’s both ways. We did our trip out of Tofino and you roughly have 1 and a 1/2 hour in the cove. They have toilets... More
