Overview
More
Rainforest Trail has two routes, A & B, both of which fully engulf you in the temperate rainforest full of gigantic western red cedars and western hemlocks. Sparking a sensation of zen, you will be overcome with the nostalgia of your childhood memories, ready to make more. Scan the upper canopy for birds, listen to the trickle of water and smell the life of this highly productive forest. Trail A is located on the opposite side of the highway from the parking lot. Trail B starts from the parking lot.

We only did the B side walk (beach side of the road). Interesting interpretative boards around the sometimes a little rickety boardwalk which takes maybe 45 mins to do if you don't rush. An interesting contrast to tropical rainforest.

We came here the day after it rained over night so the rainforest looked even more spectacular. There are two routes: route A on the north and route B on the south, next to the car park. I recommend doing route A first as it...More

This is a nice hike through the forest. Not the prettiest rain forest I've seen but nice enough. There is a boardwalk and wooden stairs (some steep and none with guard rails on both sides). Some of the wood is newly replaced and some is...More

You won't regret going on BOTH trails...to the left and the right....truly magical forest! There are two trails, one on each side of the road...do the A trail first, and then if you have time, do the B side...A was truly better/more scenic than B....More

Two nice short trails but worth the hike it's nice to see something so untouched by man other then the 1 km boardwalk on each side

This was one of the most informative and beautiful two kilometers I've ever walked. Be sure to make the stop when you are in the park.

A must see when in Tofino, this is an easy hike with two loops, one each side of the highway. Wear running shoes, not flip flops

It's got two self guided 1km trails. Nice for a quick little walk. Not wheelchair accessible but suitable for children.

She is a naturalist and a forager. I join her with another guest of the Wickinnish Inn. We took a short walk in the rainforest, which took some time because we stopped often to discuss the flora. We came out on the beach, and she...More

It's a short drive from Tofino, towards Uqleut. If you go to the visitors centre you can pick up a free map and all locals should be aware of it.
