My friend and I booked a trip to the hot springs and were completely shocked at how affordable this adventure group was in comparison to others!! This adventure group definitely made our mini-vacation!! We also had $10 off coupon from one of the town maps, making it a no brainer! We also loved the fact that the boat tours started... More

I went on a Bear Watching tour with the Whale Centre, and it was fantastic! Being fall, there were lots of bears to be found, as we saw 9, including a mom and cub! John was a great captain, and very informative, and knowledgeable. It was nice to be on a smaller boat that could approach the shore closer to... More

They say they have the best boats for whale watching and they do. We had the opportunity to jump right in the front and ge the two seats with an unobstructed view. As our skipper Howie said these were the bumpy ones but it's really fun if you like a small boat... We saw sea otters, seals, sea lions and... More

Excellent trip on a Boston Whaler on a great sunny day. Loved it all from the Eagles to the Sea Otters and birds, but undoubted highlight was the Grey Wales, first time I have seen one and to be covered in whale 'spit' a real treat. They came so close to the stationary boat, very inquisitive and swam right under... More

We went for the early morning bear watch with 2 other couples and Arty as our skipper. Despite a wet weather forecast it stayed dry which was a real bonus. We saw a total of 11 bears, including a couple of small Cubs ( from rather a long distance -they disappeared with Mum when the boat was about half a... More

I went on the bear watching tour. They outfitted us in full flotation suits and rain gear. Our captain was terrific -- very knowledgeable and friendly. Exploring the quiet coves and inlets of Clayoquot Sound was so beautiful. I would have loved it even if we didn't see any bears, but we saw six! So cool watching them find food... More

Honestly, we first chose this company because it was the least expensive and the comments online were good. We were not disappointed. No need to pay 120$/pers, these guys know their stuff!! Small open boat though, so be prepared to be a little wet (they lend Mustang suits and raincoat). There was light rain the morning we went out, and... More

Our skipper, Howie, was very knowledgeable about the local area, and respectful to all the species he managed to find for us to observe. The are no resident orca pods in the area, but Howie found us a resident grey whale, sealions, seals and a sea otter. Howie was a confident skipper, and clearly knows his stuff. The only downside... Dear 565cherryo, Thank you for taking the time to review your tour. It sounds like you were able to see quite a bit of wildlife. While we don't typically see resident orcas in the area we do often see transient orcas so hopefully you'l be able to them on your next trip to Tofino. Howie is certainly very well liked... More
