This company absolutely made our trip. A friendly welcome from the lady on the front desk. Fantastic tour guides on the bear watching. Saw a grey wolf and a brown bear. The Hot Springs Cove journeys turned into a whale watching expedition with our guide, Alik, giving us plenty of time to spot them. Lovely time at the hot springs... More

We had an incredible whale watching trip. Our guide, Randy, was incredible. We hit the herring spawn season and it was just beautiful. Plus grey whale. So that was nice.

After two unsuccessful Maritime excursions, my daughter feared she would once again, not see any whales..but this time her wish, all our wishes, came true! Our captain knew where to try, and told us how to spot, our first grey whales. It is soo cool to know that in that huge ocean, in just a short jaunt, you are looking... More

Had an awesome trip out with Randy and Jeff guiding us. Might need your sea legs if you take the outside passage to the springs but we did see whales!

Two friends and I traveled to Hot Springs Cove with Remote Passages this past weekend on their covered vessel. Before departing, the staff ensured we had everything we needed to be comfortable on our trip, lent us raincoats and outfitted us with hats & gloves. The boat itself was very comfortable, the guides (Alex & Jeff) were friendly & attentive,... More

We used them for the hot springs tour. I was blown away by their professionalism. They started us off with a video on the area we were going through. They offered us jackets and gloves to keep us dry/warm. Everything was done in a timely manner. They offered us tea at the end to warm us up. I really enjoyed... More

We've had tours with Remote Passages twice most recently this past weekend. We had the opportunity to take a tour of the Lemmens Inlet Oyster Farm as part of the Clayoquot Oyster Festival. The people were friendly when I made the reservation and again the day of the tour. The captain pointed out a sea otter and some harbor seals... More

I shoud start out saying that it was alright. We did see grey whales - but only grey whales - which is nothing compared with our tour in Prince Rupert. Our boat was pretty small so the vantage point was too low to see properly. Since I happen to like roller coasters - I did enjoy the ride. Sadly, that... More

When departing from Tofino we are headed out in search of Gray whales. The Gray whales found here represent some of the 18,000 Gray whales that return each year from the Baja Lagoons in Mexico. The migration passes our shore during the months of March and April. After this spectacle many Grays spend the summer feeding near Tofino. In late... More
