Many thanks to Jason the owner of Western Splendour Tours and Charters for a perfect day on Salt Spring Island. Not only did we get to go to two wineries, we also experienced tastings at a cidery, brewery, distillery, and Salt Spring Island Cheese! Not to mention an excellent lunch spot and bakery. The tour was made even better by... More

We loved this tour. Jason is knowledgeable and took us all over the Island. We saw goats and sheep and pottery and glass. We saw the largest collection of glass insulators in Canada. We took a great hike at Ruckles Park. We learned about farmin and many ways of making a living on the Island. Thanks

Jason was an excellent guide and customized the tour for us. We met him around noon in Ganges and he took us around in his tour bus that's been converted to run on vegetable oil! Jason was knowledgeable, flexible, and immediately provided us with alternatives once we found out the wineries were closed for the season (we went to the... More

Myself and ten girlfriends spent the day with Jason on a fabulous wine/beer/cider/cheese tour. Jason was friendly, kind, knowledgeable and helped create a day we will never forget. Wonderful service!

Jason, the owner- operator, is a friendly guy with a wealth of information about Salt Spring Island. He customized our tour for my wife and I, blending in cheese shops, wineries, scenic views and beaches, glass-blowing and other art studios - in a great half-day tour. A perfect way to get to know this beautiful island.

If you are on the island without a car - then it's definitely worthwhile doing this tour. However, with your own transport you can do it at your own pace and probably see a few more places. We did 1 × wine tasting, went to a cheese farm, saw one artist (who talked for England - interesting but limited our... More

Jason is a fabulous tour operator. This man has a wealth of knowledge and information about Salt Spring Island. He took us on a 5 hour tour of the wineries, cideries, and brewery with a couple of cheese making farms as well. Anytime we requested to stop somewhere, this man, without hesitation, would accommodate us. We were very spoiled, as... More

I took a 5 hour of Salt Spring Island attractions on July 18, 2016 with Jason, the owner-operator of Western Splendour Tours, also at toursaltspring.com. Jason is very friendly and knowledgeable, and is happy to tailor the trip to your wishes as much as possible. We did the three wineries, the craft beer brewery, Mt Maxwell, the two cheese makers... I highly recommend this "winery" tour...I say that in quotes because it was so much more! Jason toured us around to 3 wineries, 1 cider house, (the wife is a stone artist and her sculptures are scattered about the picnic area, beautiful ), a cheese farm, (which was feature on Evening Magazine in Seattle), a lavender farm, a glass blowing...
