We got the bus out, which was very easy from Prince Rupert. The walk is quite hilly in places but the path was well maintained and well signed. The trees and plants were dense and very beautiful with signs for those who are interested, explaining...More

This is a nice well maintained path travelling through forest with views of the ocean. It is quite close to PR. There are some climbs in spots but overall anybody with a moderate level of fitness can finish it. Takes 2-3 hours.

The most interesting facet was the huge amount of driftwood on the beaches and the funny little things some folks had left, ie door knocker someone had attached to a stump.

Good walk - some steep bits but they do not last along and are not that steep. Great views around Rapids and beaches. Easy gravel walking. Shady too if going on a hot day. Would advise a picnic and time to sit on beach with...More

Look, let's get real here, this is a walk of 5.5km., if you do the circuit. We are middle aged and of average fitness, but found it pretty easy compared to what we are used to. The path undulates in places, but nothing too strenuous....More

Enjoyed this hike immensely , but be ware.. steep climbing up all along the trail . Beautiful scenery as you hike . there are warning signs for bears , cougars and wolves, so be on the look out for that.

Hi I am wondering if this trail is wheelchair accessible, or possible in a power chair or scooter. Thanks

The trail is gravel along with the little hills, so being around wheelchairs I wouldn't want to take a wheelchair along the trails. Hope this is of help.

Is it an easy walk from the town or do you need to drive? Are there walking paths by the highway?

It is not a hard walk at all. It is beautiful through the forest. I agree with the above comment about parking on the highway and walking down the path.
