I had the opportunity to stay with Greg for just under a week. Being from Alberta, I was blown away by the breath taking view. The snow crest mountains, ocean view, wildlife and all-around-nature. If you like nature at its best and remoteness of cabin in a cove, this should be on your to-do list. Greg has been a tour... More

For me this Trip has been once again Awesome. We have seen Grizzly's we have seen incredible scenery .The Camp was simple but clean just the way we like it. Its a true Wilderness Adventure. Greg is a great Cook and Guide. I will be back again.

We spent three days/two nights at Palmerville. The scenery is beautiful, the bears were lovely, and Greg is a pleasant guy. The setup with the float is very nice and special. However, the lodge is not at all as described on his website. There are no cabins, but two wall tents with bunk beds for several people plus a "bedroom"... More

Very quiet and removed from other tourists. There were a few other tour operators but we were able to find our own private areas to explore in the surrounding vicinity. Great food. Best red snapper I've ever had! Fresh from the ocean. Rustic, cool experience camping out on a floating lodge.

Palmer has promised us a full refund of almost a $1,000 for a cancelled trip due to a family emergency. These promises were made in writing in numerous emails going on for over 3 months now, but he always comes up with a new lame excuse or new date that he will do the refund. Still nothing. He is certainly... More

Terrible would be an understatement. Palmer, in my opinion, is unprofessional and completely lacks any business creditability and integrity. Normally I may suggest get things in writing before hand, however in this case that would be a waste of your time as he still will not honor what he puts in writing anyway. Why does the provincial government allow this... More

After visiting Greg's website and seeing the 3 hour tour advertised, which included a float plane trip out to the bear sanctuary, I contacted Greg to see if he was running a tour on the days we were planning on visiting Prince Rupert. He replied saying he was now running a 6 hour tour which included everything as the 3... More

We visited Greg Palmer's lodge for a day trip this summer. We were looking forward to it! The trip however was not quite what we hoped for. Greg made an unprofesssional appearance, coming onto the Zodiac in his socks and smelly clothes and not giving any info on what we were about to do. During the trip on the Zodiac... More

We took the 3 hour tour which begins with the water plane flight which was an experience in itself. Once landed and suited up in warm weatherproof survival suits, we set off and encountered 3 different bears with some fantastic close up (10 -20m) watching. Our presence didn't fluster the bears (except one timid male who ran off into the... More

A small tour outfit in the remote Khutzeymateen Grizzly Bear Reserve. The float plane flight from Prince Rupert over the snowy mountain tops was breathtaking! Fortunate to have a close encounter with the bears from the zodiac-we got lucky, they are quite elusive animals... Overnight stays allow more time to see the animals and fully experience the rugged wilderness surrounding... More
