Nestled in the hills of South Kelowna against a backdrop of sweeping lake and valley views lies Okanagan Lavender & Herb Farm, a working family farm that has become a garden-inspired tourism destination. 18 different aromatic herbs and plants, including over 60 varieties of lavender, are grown, harvested, dried and distilled on-site for use in the hand-crafted botanical products that fill the farm boutique and online store. Launched as the Okanagan’s first Economusee site, visitors are invited to discover the traditional craft of essential oil and hydrosol distillation done on the farm. Three acres of garden are also open seasonally for guided and self-guided tours, with winding pathways, a cedar hedge maze, whimsical sculptures, water features and herb and xeriscape gardens. We invite you to come and entice your senses from May through December, with lavender at its peak in July. Events and workshops are offered throughout the season (please check website for more details).

Everything is relative. If you know the lavender farms in the south of France, well, then this place doesn't offer the same beauty. It's more a big garden in a neighbourhood. That said, the store is very nice, the people are very nice and the...More

We enjoyed the visit to the lavender gardens. Truly beautifully laid out however we missed the optimum time as the lavender was all pretty much harvested. Next time I'd visit in July!

I was completely disappointed with this tourist attraction. I was expecting that the place would be so fragrant and there would be a place full of lavender. But no, it was just a small garden which they charge 10 dollars per person, but you will...More

As we are a working farm, we are working hand in hand with mother nature and we are right into our busy season of harvesting and distilling the last of our fresh lavender. At the farm we hope to provide education to our guests about...More

You'd have to check with the place. I doubt lavender is still available. Too late in the season.

Yes we have dried lavender bunches in the shop, ready to go. We should also have a small number of fresh bundles in the shop by the end of this week! We are open from 10-5 daily and are happy to help you when you pop by!
