You can hike or bike as far as you wish here. The trailhead offers basic restroom facilities; dogs are welcome on leash. Some signage explains the construction, and reconstruction after the big fire.

We really enjoyed the hike by Myra canyon. The views were spectacular. We astounded by the views. The drive to the Myra canyon is very nice but be prepared to drive narrow roads.

We were there in Sept. The road to Myra Canyon is about 8 KM of climbing and winding road. A lot will depend on the weather. Is it icy etc. If you are walking have good grip on the footwear.
