The museum is pretty nice with interesting exhibitions for children and adults. The best part was surprisingly large mineral collection. The only downside was poor lighting in that mineral display area. they should improve lighting there, to make it easier to view the specimens. It...More

My boyfriend and I loved walking around, viewing all the artifacts. We actually learned a lot about Kamloops here. Certainly worth a visit, especially for tourists staying right down town as we were.

We go once a week...the lower floor is the children's museum and is hands on. My son loves it. The exhibits on all floors are well displayed and the entry fee is by donation.

OK, this is a small museum but it is of the expected high Canadian standard and well worth the very short walk from the main restaurant street, Victoria. The lower floor is set up for kids to explore and have fun. The next floor is...More

Nice space, good location, entrance via donation, but could use more 'stuff' in the museum, I found it rather lacking for a city that size.

Great small town museum. Lots of local history. Good for locals and tourists. Right downtown, near restaurants and the park.

I still haven't actually seen the entire museum, went for the summer skateboard exhibit and mini-ramp. Really neat to see so many 'kids' here and enjoying themselves, at least that was the situation on opening day. I'll definitely return to see the rest of the...More
