There are many trails to explore here...dog and bicycle friendly. It can get busy around the parking lot area but you can get some great quiet time as there is so much space.

Trails of all kinds but you have to get up that first hill which looks daunting. The view of the rivers and downtown from the cell towers can be amazing. Head to the west for the sunset views. Bring your hiking shoes and camera

Hiked up here on a cool and sunny afternoon. The ground was soft with all the rain and snow, but a great view at the top....don't miss it

Very large hiking areas with multiple trails! Trails are well labelled with name and difficulty. Many people access the trails for hiking and mountain biking!

We parked at the pullout by the jail for a quick (2.5km) loop. Great views on a sunny day. Also a picnic table at the top if you want to go up there with a packed lunch.

Fantastic views of Kamloops and the Thompson River Valley. Free parking. Accessible from the city if you don't mind the climb / hike to the top. Worth the hike!

Sorry, very wooded area. Picnic spots but no bonfires or bbqs. Just pack a lunch and enjoy the scenery.
