Nice location. Very helpful and attentive staff . We had a five wine taster flight and our server explained in detail each wine. We enjoyed them all although the majority were not good value in our humble opinion. We did enjoy the Quill white and red blend. Sample servings were adequate and there was lots of time to enjoy the wine. Limited menu but typical for a winery.

All the right ingredients… good staff, pleasant ambience overlooking and adjacent to a vineyard, a wonderful charcuterie plate, wine to our taste, countryside setting, reasonable prices, reservations if you don’t want to take pot luck. aAND, if you have a sunny day - perfect. Who could ask for anything more.

It was a hot day and we wanted to take a nice relaxed wine tasting at Blue Grouse. It's a fairly expansive property and their patio is well known for the view. We didn't have a reservation, so we had to wait a bit for a table. They sat us on the picnic table outside which was nice. The only thing I didn't like is that they pre pour all of the wines before seating you and explain the wines from left to right in order. It's hard to remember everything that is said about the wine and on a hot day, they get warm and I think that takes away from the tasting, especially for the whites. It sounds like it is something that got started during Covid. If so, it should be removed.
