VERY well done, absolutely amazing, everything was explained, and if we wanted more , there was always someone around to help. We went on to the carvers shed to see a work in progress. Even the gift shop was good.

What a waste of time.Thought I'd learn something.Didn't.Thought I'd see something inspiring.Definitely didn't.Saw and heard more about politics and backwoods shanty town life without any appreciation for what this people now enjoy.Go back to your heritage if it is the ideal life.Don't however pseudo inform me about how terrible the downtrodders were, when you drive high end cars and trucks... Was very disappointed with the "native village". Essentially it consisted of a gift shop and movie theater, a few totems and signs explaining some of their stories. Garden with signs explaining uses of various plants was not up kept, often no plant or weeds growing by signs. The rest of the site consisted of building for meetings and a cafe... More

Everyone visiting the Cowichan valley should visit this beautiful historical site on the banks of the Cowichan River. Very much like visiting the Polynesian Cultural Centre in Oahu Hawaii. Trythe Native foods and learn how the First Nations lived in the past.

Had a spring retreat with co-workers. The food was very good. The hospitality was excellent. The room was more than adequate.

I went with a group for lunch, the food was beautifully presented, It was nice that the food was take how much you wish, instead of a plate put in front of you. Great for small and large eaters alike! The food was excellent, the service very friendly and fast. We sat outside on the patio and enjoyed the river... More

The outdoor patio is a great place for lunch on a summer day. The food is good - not fabulous, but well prepared and presented.
