My husband and I both thoroughly enjoyed our visit here. The staff were extremely friendly, and were very informative during the live demonstrating the birds of prey's specific duties and skills. We spent a good two and a half hours here and it was well worth the price of admission.

Took the grand kids for the afternoon. Everyone loved it. Would go back anytime. A little pricey for a large group but a wonderful learning experience.

A great educational experience which will leave you in awe of raptors. The flying demonstration was amazing and the staff were engaging and so passionate. I highly recommend opting for the two hour hands-on program where you can learn about training, experience them perched on your gloved hand and even fly them. It's a great opportunity for photography too.

I thought everyone was fully engaged in the process on the staff. The birds were amazing. I would certainly suggest the trip as something to do on Vancouver Island. It is a fairly casual and laid-back experience. However – the people who handled the birds take complete and total control of the audience during the presentation and really do a... More

The staff (and raptors!) at The Raptor Centre as so talented, passionate and welcoming! I truly enjoyed our time there with my family. We like to go once a year. The relationship the staff have with their raptors is incredible. A fun time for everyone!

This is a great way to spend 2-3 hrs (or more) with very knowledgeable people who are actively working with birds of prey. It is an opportunity to be up close with Bald Eagles; Golden eagles; Vultures; Owls; Red tail Hawks; and the fastest animal in the world -- Peregrine Falcons, clocked in dives for prey at 300 km/hr. There... More

My boyfriend and I recently attended the Owl Evening. It was a great chance to learn more about owls and see them up close and personal. The staff is all great and well informed. The flying demonstration gave everyone a chance to experience a close encounter with the owls and see the different ways they fly. I had the pleasure... More
