In Dawson City, you can see the one-time homes of writers Jack London, Pierre Berton and Robert Service all on the same street. The Jack London Interpretive Museum houses both a replica of the author's cabin and his original, restored food cache. The centre contains photos, documents, newspaper articles and other London memorabilia.

We took a quick look at the Jack London Museum. Nicely restored Cabin to reflect what a cabin in Dawson looked like during the Gold Rush.

On your walk around Dawson City you will find this little museum. There is not much in the main building and the cabin is not the orginial cabin.

Loved seeing this. The cabin was moved to this location and restored. The exhibit is comprehensive and interesting. The people running it are very nice. Loved it.

It's not the $5 to see the one room museum, but we just didn't feel like going in. If we were big Jack London fans, no problem. However, we did glance inside (and take a few pictures) of the outdoor cabin where Jack London lived...More

Interesting articles about the life of Jack London. He got the inspiration to write from his time searching for gold in the Yukon. He didn't find gold but struck a mother lode of ideas for his future novels and short stories. The museum is a...More

It is only $5/person. There were walls lined with old pics and documents. There were videos and movie clips. It is a not for profit museum. They also have 1/2 of his cabin there. The other half is in California.

We walked to the museum from our hotel. I was not knowledgeable about Jack London, but that changed after our visit to his cabin. There was a woman offering a talk, for a nominal fee, which we decided to listen to. Prior to the talk,...More

We were told that this was a must-see, and while it didn't live up to that level, it was still an interesting place to check out. The museum is really just one big room, though it does a pretty good job of explaining the life...More

Enjoyed our knowledgeable docent very much at the Jack London cabin and museum. There were 2 interesting short films, very interesting photos of Jack London and his family. This was a must-see for me, and I'm very happy I visited.
